James Corden’s “new hobby” amid the COVID-19 pandemic has been “hiding in the bathroom” from his children
The 42-year-old actor has been spending more time at home than ever amid the ongoing global health crisis, and his children – Max, 10, Carey, six, and Charlotte, three – have also been at home because schools are currently closed

And James, who has his kids with his wife Julia Carey, has now confessed he often hides himself away in his bathroom to escape his rowdy brood when he needs time to read and write emails in peace.
He said: “My new hobby in the pandemic is hiding in the bathroom to just read and write emails. I am like, 'Just nipping to the bathroom, kids' and could be there for 40 minutes reading and writing emails.”
The ‘Late Late Show’ host also joked it’s a “miracle” his spouse hasn’t “killed” him because he often leaves her to “hold [the] entire family together”.
He added during a chat with Oprah Winfrey for a WW webinar: “'It is a miracle my wife has not killed me or left me during this time. Be honest. Who'd want to walk a mile in her shoes? She holds our entire family together.”
Meanwhile, James recently heaped praise on Julia for supporting him on his weight loss journey.
He said: "My wife has been incredible in this, in my whole journey with food she's been really, really amazing with me. And I've really found this past five weeks like I'm on the start of a journey that I'm determined to finish, and I feel that I can.
"I've lost 16 pounds. And I've been doing some exercise, which I hate. I just can't bare it, so I'm using the word hates. But my wife is so good at it."
