Armed officers have taken a man into custody, following a suspected family harm event in South Auckland's Mangere Bridge this evening

Armed officers have taken a man into custody, following a suspected family harm event in South Auckland's Mangere Bridge this evening

Police say staff were armed as a precaution given concerns around the man's behaviour at the address off Woodward Avenue.

They say they're still determining exactly what happened and officers will remain in the area as part of their enquiries.
