A man's been taken into custody - after a Police car chase on Auckland's Southern Motorway this evening

A vehicle was seen driving the wrong way at Takaanini, and allegedly damaging others in the southbound lanes - after being spotted at the scene of a burglary earlier on.

Police tried to intercept the vehicle and managed to box it against a barrier - before the alleged driver fled over a fence.
