Marvin and Rochelle Humes have swapped after parties for soft play areas

The JLS singer is set to go tour with his band later this year and whilst the couple used to always be looking for the after party, they're now more bothered about setting up play space for Marvin and his bandmate's youngest children

Marvin shared: "We’re not four young guys running around without a care in the world anymore. We’re all family men."

Whilst Rochelle - who has Alaia-Mai, seven, Valentina, four, and Blake, six months, with Marvin - added: "We used to wonder where the after party was. Now the conversation is about setting up soft play areas backstage."

Rochelle always knew Marvin and his bandmates - Aston Merrygold, JB Gill and Oritse Williams - would return to the stage one day and she is glad they are doing it now whilst their kids are still young.

She explained: "It was more of a question of when it was going to happen, rather than if. It's a really nice time for everybody’s children to understand and enjoy. They’re at the age where it’s exciting rather than embarrassing."

The couple insist they would be on hand to advise if their children wanted to follow in their footsteps.

She said: "I would say, 'Mummy and Daddy tried to send you to a very good school, use that'. But we can’t be hypocrites. As parents, you just have to give him the right information on whatever it is that you know."

Whilst Marvin told inews.co.uk: "Getting a no at auditions as a kid is part of what made me who I am, but I can’t imagine how difficult it was for our parents. I would be devastated for them."
