    A confidence boost for Ross Taylor


    The Black Caps veteran batsman scored 80 in New Zealand's first innings of the second cricket test against England at Edgbaston.

    It's his highest score in 16 innings, and just third half century since November 2019.



    England's 122 for nine in their second innings after three days, a lead of just 37 runs.
