    Kiwi surfers Ella Williams and Billy Stairmand are through to the third rounds in the women's and men's competitions respectively in Tokyo.



    Swimmer Lewis Clareburt's finished a lowly seventh in the final of the men's 400 metre individual medley.



    Luuka Jones has finished 10th in her heat in the women's canoe slalom, with a total time of 110-point-2 seconds.



    Tom Burns' medal chances are over after losing his round of 16 Taekwondo match against Brit Bradly Sinden in the men's 68 kilogram division.
