    Brian Tamaki is launching a legal challenge, from behind bars at Auckland's Mount Eden Prison


    The controversial Destiny Church leader has spent a second night in prison, after being arrested at his home on Monday morning for allegedly breaching his bail conditions.

    He's accused of breaching those conditions by speaking at an anti-vaccine rally in Christchurch earlier this month.

    Tamaki has now filed an appeal against a judge's decision to remand him in custody.

    The 63-year-old was remanded to Mount Eden Prison until January 27.
