People are being encouraged to hand in their fake Covid vaccine passes or face prosecution

People are being encouraged to hand in their fake Covid vaccine passes or face prosecution

It comes as a 61-year-old man will appear in Christchurch District Court next week, charged with forgery, after producing fake passes.

Detective Sergeant Daniel Isherwood says Police already have a list of individuals in the wider Christchurch area, known to have fake My Vaccine Passes.

He says those people have until 4pm next Tuesday to hand them in at the Rangiora Police Station.
