    Lisa Carrington's paying tribute to her just-retired crewmate from the Tokyo Olympics after claiming the New Zealand Olympic Committee's top prize


    The kiwi kayaker has been awarded the Lonsdale Cup after winning three golds at last year's Games, two on her own and the other with Caitlin Regal in the K2 500m.

    Regal announced her retirement this week and Carrington says she's an incredible athlete and person.
