Drivers will soon be able to put their pedal to the metal on more sections of Waikato's Expressway

Mid-next month, the speed limit between Hampton Downs and Tamahere will be 110 kilometres an hour.

Waka Kotahi says the expressway is one of New Zealand's best designed roads

The transport agency has consulted with Iwi, the Police and the local council.
