England have overcome a slow start to beat the Silver Ferns 59-55 in Porirua, and clinch netball's Taini Jamison Trophy

England have overcome a slow start to beat the Silver Ferns 59-55 in Porirua, and clinch netball's Taini Jamison Trophy

New Zealand won the first quarter by three goals, and had a one-point halftime lead, but let the Roses back into the game in the third spell.

Silver Ferns coach Dame Noeline Taurua admits they needed a better lead at the halfway mark.

England have taken an unassailable 2-nil series lead ahead of test three in Invercargill on Sunday.
