The All Whites will run out to very wet conditions in Hamilton tonight, when they host Vanuatu in their latest football World Cup qualifier

Tahiti have thrashed Samoa 3-nil in the first international on Waikato Stadium's waterlogged pitch.

Water was visibly splashing beneath the players' feet during the match... and the ball was holding up on the surface.

Whether it drains in time to not affect play for the 7.30pm kickoff remains to be seen.
