    A scrub fire has broken out again on Auckland's Mangere Mountain


    Three crews and a water tanker are at the scene of the blaze which began about 3:15 this afternoon on the mountain's ridge.

    Fire and Emergency New Zealand says it is working to contain the 30 by 30 metre blaze.

    Fire crews had left the mountain this morning after extinguishing a three hectare blaze at the same place overnight.
