    A man is due in Pukekohe District Court today after a woman was found dead in a car in Waiuku, south of Auckland


    A homicide investigation was launched after her body was found Friday and a post-mortem was carried out yesterday.

    A 50-year-old is charged with male assaults female.

    Police say they cannot rule out further charges - and aren't seeking anyone else in relation to the woman's death.

    Scene examinations are ongoing at two locations.
