The Roosters' seesawing season in league's NRL continues after a 42-16 thumping of the Sharks

    - article from www.rugbyleague.co.nz

Despite missing five players to State of Origin camps and three regulars through injury - the Bondi-based side have ended Cronulla's three match winning streak with a seven tries to three demolition in Gosford.

The Roosters stay 11th - the Sharks hold fifth

Meanwhile - four-time reigning premiers Penrith have slumped back to the bottom of the ladder following a 25-6 defeat to the Knights in Bathurst.

The Panthers have now won just three of 11 matches this season - Newcastle go up one spot to 14th.
