    A senior first responder has appeared in Christchurch District Court charged with exporting and owning material depicting child sexual exploitation

    A senior first responder has appeared in Christchurch District Court charged with exporting and owning material depicting child sexual exploitation


    The man in his 50s was arrested yesterday, and appeared today on charges brought by Customs.

    Court documents allege he possessed 19 objectionable publications depicting abuse between January and June this year.

    He's been granted bail, with conditions prohibiting internet use.

    He has name suppression - and will reappear in two months.
