Commuter disruption in the capital this morning

Commuter disruption in the capital this morning

Trains between Porirua and Wellington have been suspended after reports of a car hitting a bridge crossing on State Highway 1.

Metlink was advised just before 7:30am.

KiwiRail must undergo an inspection of the bridge before services can resume.

Metlink is trying to source buses to replace services - but availability is limited.
