A former travel agent has been sentenced to 13 months' home detention after deceiving her employers and acquaintances

The 29 year old woman was convicted on 16 fraud charges, after taking more than 62-thousand-dollars from her victims.
She offered to handle travel bookings, leaving employers with losses when she diverted payments into her own bank accounts.
The woman's been ordered to pay more than 15-thousand dollars within two weeks and another 41-thousand at 200-dollars a week.
Her offending ran across 2022 and 2023, with three different travel sector employers.
