A lawyer who breached suppression over the use of blood from vaccinated people for a child's surgery - must pay more than 15-thousand dollars in fines and costs

A lawyer who breached suppression over the use of blood from vaccinated people for a child's surgery - must pay more than 15-thousand dollars in fines and costs

Open Justice reports proceedings were brought against Nelson lawyer, Sue Grey, after she referred to a child whose identity was suppressed.

She was spokesperson for parents objecting over the surgery for their baby, that doctors argued was life-saving.

Grey abbreviated the mother's name and shortened the baby's - in two interviews.

Health NZ lawyers complained and Grey ended up before the tribunal overseeing lawyers' conduct.
