A criminal psychologist believes Australian mushroom murderer, Erin Patterson, was very deliberate in her actions

A criminal psychologist believes Australian mushroom murderer, Erin Patterson, was very deliberate in her actions

The 50-year-old's been found guilty of murdering three in-laws and trying to kill a fourth - with a deathcap-laced beef wellington in July 2023.

She could be served life in jail - with her defence yet to announce any appeals.

Psychologist Tim Watson-Munro says Patterson took great steps to cover her tracks.

He says in his view, there was a strong consciousness of guilt - as she tried to get rid of IT data, denied where she'd been and told lies about her life.
