    A man has died in hospital after a shooting in the Bay of Plenty's Te Puke


    Police were notified around 10.30am yesterday, of a man being admitted to hospital with a gunshot wound.

    Detective Senior Sergeant Natalie Flowerdew-Brown, says despite medical attention, he died this morning.

    Officers have launched a homicide investigation,and are working to find those involved.

    A scene examination is underway in the Manoeka area - and Police want to hear from anyone with information.

    They also want any CCTV or dashcam footage from the area between 10am and 11am yesterday.
