Otago University students are likely to face disciplinary action after fireworks were fired at Police - for the second night

Otago University students are likely to face disciplinary action after fireworks were fired at Police - for the second night

Three more people were arrested after officers were called to reports of disorder, fireworks, and drinking on Castle Street.

They say of about 80 people on the street, some aimed fireworks at officers, despite multiple warnings, but no one was injured.

The University Proctor is investigating a similar incident on Monday.

They've visited Castle Street flats to remind students of their expectations - under the law and the Student Code of Conduct.
