Cautions for commuters in high-sided vehicles ... as high winds hit the Capital

Gusts of up to 120 kilometres an hour are being recorded in exposed places.

Meteorologist Andy Best says the wind is strong enough to make some people unstable on their feet.

He says some gusts can damage things like trees and power lines -and can send trampolines flying.
