A children's charity wants young voices front and centre around work to reduce family and sexual violence

A children's charity wants young voices front and centre around work to reduce family and sexual violence

Save the Children is welcoming the government's community consultation approach but sasy we can't rely on adults alone to improve the problem.

They say our court system often pits victims and offenders against each other which can traumatise children.

Save the Children spokesperson Jacqui Southey says we need to have difficult conversations.

She says we don't want to believe that children are abused but it's a sad reality.
