    Police are investigating a dramatic fatal crash on Tauranga's Chapel Street


    About 20 people dived into Tauranga Harbour in a desperate rescue attempt, after a car plunged into the water and began sinking fast with people inside about 5pm.

    Police say one person died, while St John says three others were treated for injuries at the scene.
