    {EMBARGOED UNTIL 3PM]

    {EMBARGOED UNTIL 3PM]

Confirmation Shane Reti has lost the health portfolio - with Simeon Brown taking up the reins.

Prime Minister Chris Luxon says Brown is charged with delivering even more progress in the sector.

The change means Brown will pass on Transport to Chris Bishop - and Energy and Local Government to Simon Watts.

Reti will be the Minister for Statistics, as well as the Minister for Universities and the Minister for Science Innovation and Technology.

Luxon's also expanded Finance Minister Nicola Willis' role to include a new Economic Growth portfolio - replacing Melissa Lee's Economic Development.

Lee is no longer a Minister outside cabinet - replaced by James Meager, who becomes Minister for the South Island, Youth and Hunting and Fishing.
