    A Taupo businessman's heading to trial - charged with rape and trying to bribe his alleged victim


    The man, who has interim name suppression, pleaded not guilty to three charges in Rotorua District Court yesterday.

    He's charged with two counts of sexual violation, and jointly charged with two others of attempting to pervert the course of justice.

    The man has been bailed after electing a trial by jury - and will be recalled in August.
