A new report shows gaps remained wide in England after the introduction of a 'knowledge-rich' curriculum - similar to proposals here.

Principals' President Leanne Otene says the Government hasn't considered the full breadth of international evidence.

She says New Zealand's implementing the same framework England is critically examining.

She says this country's risking making the same mistakes rather than learning from other countries.
