2026 could be the year for Auckland businesses, with confidence rising

Auckland Business Chamber's survey shows positive sentiment has doubled from 16 to 32 percent since November.

25 percent of businesses describe their overall confidence as negative, down from 44 percent.

CEO Simon Bridges says businesses aren't euphoric, but they're more confident in the direction things are heading.

He says they're starting to see it flow through, with better performance, revenue and expectations of a better economy.
