Rower Kerri Gowler's hoping to have a decision on her Olympic future soon

Rower Kerri Gowler's hoping to have a decision on her Olympic future soon

Gowler and Grace Prendergast have won two of the last three world titles in the women's pair, while also collecting gold in the eight at last year's world championships.

It's yet to be confirmed whether they'll race in both boats at the Tokyo Games this year with a selection to be made from a 10-woman summer squad.

Gowler and Prendergast will race for different clubs at this week's national championships at Lake Karapiro.

Frustration off the track for Scott McLaughlin on the eve of the opening round of the Supercars season in Adelaide.

The reigning champion's been forced to re-auction the helmet and race suit he'd donated towards Australian bushfire relief, after the winner reneged on a $47,000 bid.

McLaughlin will place the items back up for auction until 8pm Sunday.

Wicketkeeper BJ Watling insists there's little adjustment required of him, despite New Zealand's change of test spinner.

Ajaz Patel is the only tweak option in the Black Caps squad for the two tests against India, replacing fellow-left arm orthodox Mitchell Santner.

Watling says he's kept a lot to both.

The first test in Wellington starts on Friday.

Vietnam are clinging to the plan of hosting their maiden Formula One Grand Prix in Hanoi on April 5, despite coronavirus concerns.

The news comes after officials called off the Chinese Grand Prix planned for Shanghai on April 19.

Hanoi's approximately 150 kilometres from the Chinese border.

China have forfeited a Davis Cup tennis tie because their team cannot travel to Romania next month due to coronavirus concerns.

The International Tennis Federation's cited increased restrictions in response to the epidemic.

Tottenham Hotspur manager Jose Mourinho expects forward Son Heung Min to miss the rest of the season after fracturing his right arm at the weekend.

Son's injury leaves Spurs short on attacking options for their Champions League last-16 first-leg match against RB Leipzig tomorrow.
