    Bay of Plenty Police have laid charges over three separate fatal crashes since last year


    A 47-year-old woman is due in Opotiki District Court in relation to a crash on State Highway Two at Waiotahe in November.

    A 20-year-old man will appear in the Whakatane District Court over a crash on Whakatane's White Pine Bush Road in October.

    Both face charges of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

    And a 70-year-old woman's due in the Whakatane District Court charged with careless driving causing death - over a January 23 crash on State Highway 30 at Coastlands.
