    Angus Gardner will have the whistle for Saturday's Super Rugby grand final between the Crusaders and Chiefs in Christchurch


    Gardner heads up an all-Australian officiating panel, with Damon Murphy and Matt Kellahan his assistant referees and Brett Cronan the television match official.

    It's his second Super Rugby final, after controlling the Crusaders' 2018 win over the Lions.

    The Chiefs meanwhile are hoping it's fourth time lucky in the decider, having lost finals in 2021, 2023 and 2024.

    First five Damian McKenzie says they have what it takes to turn that around.
