NZTA is working to assess weather damage to state highways across the country

NZTA is working to assess weather damage to state highways across the country

State Highway Six is amongst them, closed from Tasman's Belgrove to Murchison, as well as Bisley Avenue to Richardson Street.

State Highway 60 is also closed, due to slips and flooding, from Tasman's Riwaka, through to upper Takaka.

Parts of State Highway 63 through Marlborough's Renwick are also shut because of flooding.

In the North Island, State Highway One is closed through Northland's Mangamuka Gorge, due to a slip.

And police say Waikato's Horahora Road is blocked after a tree fell onto a vehicle but no one was injured.
