Armed police are patrolling a Central Auckland suburb, following an assault this afternoon

Police were called to Liverpool Street in Epsom at around 12:40pm, after a person received injuries at a property.

One person was located with moderate injuries, and three people have been taken into custody at the scene.

Residents may see an increased Police presence while enquiries into the incident take place.
