Greater diversity of care is required to improve the mental health of children and teens

Greater diversity of care is required to improve the mental health of children and teens

This from the Association of Child and Adolescent Psychotherapists.

It says while there's a lot of psychologists and psychiatrists being trained, there isn't as much of a focus on psychotherapists.

President Jo Doyle says there needs to be a greater diversity of care, as children have to be suffering quite severely before they go to a psychiatrist.
