Foodstuffs North Island has approval to build New Zealand's largest new supermarket

Foodstuffs North Island has approval to build New Zealand's largest new supermarket

Auckland Council has given consent for a Pak'nSave in Takapuna, covering more than half a hectare.

The 100 million dollar supermarket will be larger than Foodstuff's more than six-thousand-square-metre Pak'nSave at Highland Park, which opened this year.

The site near the Esmonde Road motorway on-ramp, will have 197 carparking spaces.

There are plans for an undercroft, with most parking beneath the store.
