    The woman charged with neglect after a two-year-old was discovered hidden inside a suitcase in a bus luggage-compartment, has been denied bail


    The little girl is reportedly well - after being found when the bus stopped in Northland's Kaiwaka on Sunday.

    A 27-year-old's reappeared before Judge Anna Fitzgibbon in the North Shore District Court this afternoon.

    Her next appearance is scheduled for August 13.

    Oranga Tamariki says it's working with the toddler's family to ensure she's cared for.
