Kim Kardashian's longtime best friend Allison Statter accidentally set her hair on fire

The 45-year-old media personality caught the terrifying moment while Allison blew out candles on the cake at her 46th birthday party in a video shared on Kim's Instagram Stories on Sunday (11.01.26).

In the clip, Allison leaned over her birthday cake as she tried to blow out the final candle, of which the flame then caught onto her brown locks and began to spread upwards.

However, her husband, Rich Statter, quickly grabbed his wife's hair and put out the fire with his hands.

Afterwards, Allison - whose 78-year-old dad is Irving Azoff, former Ticketmaster CEO - looked shocked as she looked up and straight into the Kim's camera lens before Allison let out a laugh.

Responding to the accident while filming, Kim - who has been best friends with Allison since elementary school - said: "Oh my god!"

The star - whose 70-year-old mom, Kris Jenner, and Allison's mom, Shelli Azoff, are best pals - jokingly penned over the clip: "You are on fire baby!!!!! (sic)"

Kim also posted some close-up images of the horror accident, which showed Allison's flaming hair as she blew out the last candle on her birthday cake.

Also on Sunday, Kim paid tribute to Allison on her birthday with an Instagram carousel that featured a series of throwback shots of the duo over the years.

Kim captioned the sweet post with: "Happy Birthday to my best friend in the entire world @allisonstatter. I've known you my whole life and couldn't imagine going through life with any other person.

"I am so proud of you and everything you have accomplished! I love you so much!!!! (sic)"

Despite Kim's fame and success, the Skims founder has remained very close to her long-time inner circle, including Allison, fashion designer Simone Harouche, 45, and 46-year-old teacher Zoe Winkler Reinis.

And Kim claimed that they are the reason she has never attended a therapy session, describing them as the "best friends in the entire world".

During an episode of The Kardashians in June 2024, she said: "This week, in particular, has been complete chaos, but honestly, I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for my friends, like I have the best friends and they're super supportive.

"I think that's probably why I've never seen a therapist, [it] is because I have the best friends in the entire world, and they mean everything to me."
