    Finn Allen's been recognised for his impressive season in cricket's Big Bash League across the ditch


    The New Zealand opener's been named in the team of the tournament - decided by voting among the league's eight head coaches.

    Allen sits second on the run-scoring charts with 430 - just three runs behind former Australian opener David Warner.

    The 26-year-old's form - which comes as he prepares to head to India to join the Black Caps ahead of the T20 World Cup - has helped the Scorchers into Sunday's grand final in Perth.
