It seems Aucklanders are heeding the advice to get tested for Covid-19 if symptoms develop

It comes as there are no new community cases and one in managed isolation which was under investigation yesterday - and has already recovered.

The Ministry of Health says it's pleased with the number of people who've been seeking a test in the Auckland area.

Auckland DHBs are reporting a steady demand at the region's seven community testing centres, where 633 people were swabbed yesterday.

Over 5,300 tests were conducted yesterday alone, nationwide.
