    Two-time Olympian Sam Tanner and 15-year-old prodigy Sam Ruthe have shared gold after a dead heat finish to the men's 1500m national final at the New Zealand Track and Field Championships


    Officials were unable to separate the two following a photo finish = both recording a time of three minutes 44.31 seconds.
