    Olympic swimmer Hazel Ouwehand has stormed home to break the New Zealand record in the 50 metre butterfly at the national championships


    Ouwehand posted a time of 25.43 seconds, beating her own benchmark by .45 of a second.

    She says her ultimate goal was to break the record.
