A High Court jury has found a 35-year-old man guilty of murdering Dunedin man, Gurjit Singh

Singh was found with 46 stab wounds outside his Liberton home in January last year.

Rajinder, who goes by a single name in court documents, was arrested days later.

The Crown says the killing was a planned, targeted attack driven by resentment - after Singh married a woman who'd rejected Rajinder.

Police evidence also shows Rajinder bought gloves and a knife beforehand.

He will be sentenced in April
