    Little hesitation for new Phoenix signing Mackenzie Anthony in agreeing to join the A-League football club's women's side


    The 24-year-old American has been signed as cover for injured striker Sabitra "Samba" Bhandari .

    Anthony - who's coming of an impressive campaign in the Irish top flight - says her move to Wellington happened fast.



    Anthony scored 23 goals in 25 appearances at Dublin-based Shelbourne FC last year.
