    A horrific, frightening incident

    A horrific, frightening incident

A newborn baby has died, after being bitten by a dog at a Hamilton house on Sunday night.

The dog is being held at the city pound, and it's not yet known whether it will be put down.

Animal behaviourist Mark Vette says a dog attack is tough - because it's like siblings hurting each other.

He says it's highly traumatising for everyone involved, including the dog.
