    Canterbury's cruised to victory in their opening Ford Trophy domestic 50-over cricket match


    They've beaten Wellington by seven wickets in Christchurch, chasing down 120 with more than 27 overs to spare.

    Henry Nicholls top scored with 43.

    Earlier they rolled the visitors for 119, with Sean Davey taking six for 30.
