    Searches are continuing by land, air and sea in the Bay of Plenty - for a man who's been missing since Christmas Day


    The 48-year-old jumped into the harbour in Ohope around six pm - when Police were called to a family harm incident.

    The man swam away - despite officer's attempts to get him to come out of the water.

    The Police Dive Squad, and helicopters have been deployed again today - meanwhile Land Search and Rescue volunteers are searching the shoreline.

    A rahui remains in place on Ohiwa Harbour, including at the Port Ohope wharf.
