Palou has completed a maiden victory, passing Marcus Ericsson for the lead with 14 laps remaining.

A rain-hampered race saw 10 drivers withdraw, including two-time reigning champion Josef Newgarden and 2014-winner Ryan Hunter Reay who struck a glitch while in the lead.

Scott Dixon finished last after encountering mechanical issues, while Scott McLaughlin crashed out in the practice lap - Marcus Armstrong was 21st.
