    The New Zealand women's hockey team have succumbed to the United States once again


    They've fallen 2-1 in the final of their three-nations tournament in Dunedin - after losing the first encounter earlier in the week.

    The Black Sticks were swept 2-nil in an away series against the US last year.

    New Zealand 'A' downed Japan 1-nil to finish third.
