The 24-year-old is the top qualifier for the big air final, meaning she will ride last of the 12 competitors in each of the three runs.
Sadowski-Synnott advanced courtesy of a combined score of 172.25 - which included the field's highest individual score of 90.
She won silver and bronze in the discipline in 2022 and 2018 respectively, while her gold came in the slopestyle at the last Games.
Three New Zealanders have full sets of gold, silver and bronze medals in the same discipline - Dame Valerie Adams, Dame Lydia Ko and Barbara Kendall.
